It's all about a man being addicted to drinking, and then confronting his inner demons and moving on to bigger and better things. Slash's guitar work here, like the entire album, is his best since the Use Your Illusions. It's harder than it seems. It's a great introduction to Contraband, it explodes into action and promises for even more to come. It doesn't get more bluesy than this, and with Rod Jackson's vocals, the tempo is perfect. This song was meant for Fergie, and I don't think any other singer would've sounded nearly as good in her place. Smash Mouth is still a great band and it could be that their time is coming around again. One of the faster songs on Libertad, but that doesn't mean it's heavy. The lyrics are dumb though. Anyway, it's a sad but hopeful song about moving on from a broken heart. The guitar solo is great, but my favorite part is when Scott shouts "I went to fast I'm out of luck and I don't even give a F*CK!" The overall theme of the song is fun since it indicates that the world we see upon waking each morning is going to be something that we can make as we want it. The chorus is cool, the guitar even better. After the final lengthy mode, you get to go into the awesome final battle. It has a bit of country in it, which obviously isn't Slash's strongpoint, but he does well in this song. Bramble Blast came from the stage obviously known as Bramble Blast as well as a few more with a similar function, though replacing the barrels with other entities such as ropes.
